Dear Timmy: Should Ron or Murray be suspended, but not expelled?
Ron Paul and Murray Rothbard take opposite points of view on abortion, both qua libertarians. They are 180 degrees apart. They can’t possibly both be correct (in my view, evictionism is the only proper libertarian position, but that’s another topic). Moreover, abortion is at least as important an issue for libertarians or anyone else as is Israel-Iran etc. Both are complicated issues, with many lives at stake. Yet, neither Murray or Ron has been attacked as going AWOL on libertarianism, as a disgrace to our libertarian philosophy. Neither has been excommunicated by any fellow libertarian. The very idea is preposterous. There’s something weird going on here.
I watched all but the last 2 minutes of the video. You and Rafik are discussing Israel and the war with the Arabs. Here are my thoughts:
A: You shouldn't have been expelled from Mises and RPI, maybe suspended (LOL), but not expelled.
B: I don't care if everyone dies in the Middle East. I just don't want my tax money and American blood spent in that quagmire of hate, death, and religious fanaticism.
C: Property Rights? LOL! My wife and I have to pay extortion fees (property taxes) to the county every year to keep living on "our" land. Also, the threat of eminent domain is always there.
D: AIPAC, Mossad spies, and the IDF sinking of the USS Liberty in June of 1967, have convinced me that Israel is not a friend of America, or me.
E: Why does Israel have nuclear weapons? They stole Uranium and technology from the USA.
In conclusion, the Middle East is a tarbaby that is best avoided at all costs.
First, if I haven’t already mentioned your expulsion from the Mises Institute I want to say how wrong it was and how cultish MI has become—never a good look for a party that claims to be principled.
As for this video, I am immediately put off whenever anyone uses or relies on the “Bible”—Old or New Testaments—for their arguments. There really isn’t any point in my detailing the falsity of using the Bible as a historical document.
I am a big fan of your work, and I would love to read more of your ideas and thoughts on how we should live in a free society.
The Randians are very pro Israel. But, if you like Mozart, Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, watch out!
Daniel: Thanks for your kind comments. Best regards, Walter

They would probably kick me out too then. Time to stand up for Israel. 🇮🇱 🇮🇱 🇮🇱
