Dear Danny:

You make important points. Thanks.

I’d choose Judaism to wokism.

I’m also a Hoppean, but with reservations:

You know Mr Block,

I would have agreed with you about the two cheers part in the past. But, I think we've all come to learn the hard way that maybe 1% of the population can be convinced and or converted to a libertarian / anarchist free thinker ideology/perspective.(but let's not fool ourselves, it *is* ideological)

It is *us* versus *them*, good versus bad. A future of thinking and mental progress along with cultural and economic peace and prosperity, versus imprisoned minds attacking any viewed combatants in the type of cannibalistic ideological wars that would make Mao and Lenin proud.

I have become Hoppean, firmly so.

But as someone who is also firmly biblical, doubly so. I'm not only Hoppean, but also very cynical about the vast majority of humanity in their "Earth dweller" "bleached bones" existence.

If Florida with its humidity, insects, terrible vegetation, boring cities, and crazy Florida-man is to be the first place that is firmly anti-woke all the way up to the politics, then all the better for it. It might be it's taking something like Florida and turning it into something more livable than in New Hampshire.

With the above in mind, I can only hope, although in vain, that Israel will follow suit.....

Can you not help but feel that very soon on the horizon extreme turmoil and conflict will give birth to the kind of honest exchanges which will make sure that the woke do not interfere with the saved/culturally non-suicidal/contract-based agreed upon societies?

I remember from my interview with you that you never really identified as a Jewish Jew. But if it really came down to it and you had to choose between having Judaism/non-Messianic Judaism forced on you to live in a healthy society or, to live in a culturally free woke and broke society which would you choose?

Regards and prayers

Danny
